Hi,
This is beginning to sound good to me. Multipple over-ride
possibilities:
a) in the changelog file: quick, easy, and highly visible, and has to
be renewd on each upload. Totally bypassing lintian is possible
b) A global over-ride file for known execptions to genral policy --
needs discussion on debian-devel before being included, and then
is very low profile.
I like it.
