Bug Statistics
I was intrested how the total number of open bug reports changes over
time. Therefore, I started to store some summary information about each
bug report every week and wrote a simple Perl script to display some
statistics on the data. Here is the first output:
by 98-01-09:
open bug reports: 4489 (severe=59, normal=4082, wishlist=348)
by 98-01-17:
open bug reports: 4522 (severe=55, normal=4102, wishlist=365)
fixed: 227
new: 260
by 98-01-24:
open bug reports: 4574 (severe=63, normal=4141, wishlist=370)
fixed: 154
new: 206
[severe==release-critical bug]
Cheers,
Chris
