Rob Malda (Slashdot.org's maintainer) recently said he got some mail from
NS related to this issue. From what Rob said, this person (who asked to
remain anonymous) is/was pushing releasing NS source code. Maybe if you
ask Rob nicely (and explain him why you want to get in contact with
someone at NS)... his email is malda@slashdot.org
