I don't think so. egcs will continue to be developed in bazaar style, giving
developers early access to new features, gcc will still be released at a
much lower frequency. For now, it is possible that the differences between
egcs and gcc are small and not relevant to us; but we can expect this issue
to become relevant again in time.
