What are the advantages of keeping such a script around Yes, because I might want that cronjob run at "5 4 * * *" because at 2 a clock the system's running with heavy load anyway. I don't want to edit it with a new update. btw. Steve, does your cron take care of faulty crontabs like /etc/cron.d/ipac.dpkg-old?
