Another (simpler) suggestion:

debian-changes-i386    -- source and binary-i386 (including binary-all)
debian-changes-alpha   -- source and binary-alpha (including binary-all)

This way one would normally have to subscribe to just one list.

or else: (not so simpler, but more "granular").

debian-changes-source  -- source
debian-changes-i386    -- binary-i386 (including binary-all)
debian-changes-alpha   -- binary-alpha (including binary-all)

BTW: Would be nice also to have a single submitting mail address which
takes care of which lists should the announcements be forwarded.
