On ftp.debian.org and debian.med.miami.edu, the links to the binary directories are set up this way: bo/binary -> bo/binary-i386 OK non-free/binary-i386 -> non-free/binary backwards contrib/binary-i386 -> non-free/binary backwards This has the effect of wiping out non-free and contrib directories on a system which is set up consistently in all 3 directories, and which is mirroring either one of these sites.
