By the way, I have observed that even when installing with the latest disk
set, there are problems mounting IDE CD drives attached to sound cards. The
problem seems to be related with the base disks not having the approprite /dev
files (/dev/hde and /dev/hdf, I guess). This point should be fixed before 1.3
is released, for the IDE CD + sound card configuration is very popular
nowadays.
