Hi,
If you call the concept maintainer groups, then it seems to
imply a co-perative effort, in other words, the ``friends'' have been
sounded and are volunteers, and have accepted a greater involvement
in the package (co-maintainers? I like that), rather than a package
developer that says I am friendly towards A, and B, but I really hate
C today ;-)
I know that that is not the intent, but I guess the term comes
with baggage (at least for me).
Co-maintainers already has precedent: dpkg has two
maintainers, and I can see where this could be useful.
