Re: `login_970616-1.deb' is *BROKEN*
It works for me too, and I'm not using NIS. You're going to have to
give me more information obviously.
Make a wrapper around login:
#!/bin/sh
strace -o /tmp/s /bin/login
in /tmp/slogin for example, and then use the -l option to getty in one
of the inittab entries like this:
6:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty6 -l /tmp/slogin
Send me the resulting strace.
