Parts of dselect are written in C++ and:

tapiola!joey:/tmp> ldd /usr/bin/dselect
        libncurses.so.3.0 => /lib/libncurses.so.3.0
        libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.4.23

Correction?
