AIEEEEEE! How do I compile a X shared lib?
Ok. I upgraded gcc, binutils, libc6[-dev], xlib6[-dev], cpp and all the
other stuff that caused dependency problems. My system is working. BUT...
Now I compile Imlib, with the same Imakefile I was using before, and the
damn thing ends up statically linked!
I realize the xlib6 is libc5, and I intended to report this as a bug against
myself (like we do for missing manpages), but first I need to make the stuff
compile! Help! :-(
