Policy about daemons uid/gid?
Hi,
the last version of wwwoffle, a web proxy and offline web
cache offers the options to change uid/gid if run as root.
At now the daemon "wwwoffled" is run from rc?.d as root/root
and writes the cached data to "/var/spool/wwwoffle".
Now that is possible, should I change his uid/gid?
To what? (Then I have to change the permissions on /var/spool/wwwoffle,
isnt it?)
Thanx for your help one more time.
