That's not just the same name, that's the same package compiled against
lesstif and motif respectively. The reason I (ddd-dmotif and ddd-smotif
maintainer) uploaded source is because uploads of ddd (with lesstif)
to main distribution and motif packages to contrib are going to be
completely independent. Unfortunately, even motif versions of ddd-2.x
are not stable enough. I will definitely end up uploading ddd-1.4d
which is much more stable. 
My question is whether I should make these packages
(ddd-2.x and ddd-1.4d) non-conflicting with each other (using different
name for binary, say gddd, different .dddinit files, etc.) or shouldn't.
