I have to leave the project :-(

Well my time has come to leave the project.  I have too many obligations
right now, that I can't keep track of everything.  I was going to have
to leave the project after the summer , (as I am going to be spending a
year in Israel, hopefully away from distractions, but that's another
story), so this changes my plans a little.  I want to give up my
packages for adoption now.  

The packages are

xanim, plays many multimedia files.
opie, and S/Key compatable One time password program. 

I was also working on packaging

The dotfile generator. (sorry don't have the web page on me)

I wasn't able to get far in packaging it, but this could be a great
program to include in the distribution.

And, of course, our Linuxconf discussion.

I didn't have time to get Linuxconf packaged, but I still think this
program is almost a neccesity for the project, it will make the job of a
new sys-admin very simple.  I didn't want to make it a required part of
the system, but I believe we should put in hooks so that it will work.

Well, I'll be back in the summer months on the mailing lists, (I love my
job), but then I'll be gone for the year.  God willing, I will back for
the 98-99 school year and beyond, so hopefully the project will still be
around.

I had a lot of fun during the past year, and I am thankful that I was
accepted into the group.  Many highschool kids don't recieve
opportunities like this, and I am very thankful for it.
