Re: Possible framework for `debmake replacement'



Hi,

	I'll be consolidating all that we have been discussing into a
 requirements document. 

	Oh yes, I was the person talking about make snippets, and that
 is how I would implement this, but we are still in the wish list
 /requirements phase, and I don't want our requirements to be tainted
 with or constrained by the idiosyncracies and limitations of any one
 implementation. 

	As to a suggestion I just read, we do not need to make
 debian/rules a shell script, make is powerful enough for our needs.
