Bug#5048: libc5 5.4.7 makes gnuplot and netscape coredump

Yeah, and upgrading to gnuplot patchlevel 316 also fixes the problem
Checking gnuplot-3.5 with gdb showed it to crash in free(),
so I guess this is one more bug the new malloc shows us.
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find the bug, and the "patchlevel 316"
version mentioned above is listed as beta, and, dumps core on some
of it's own demo files. Guy, I guess I cannot make you interested
in this problem?
