Bug#3751: a simple patch & a question



I'm no Xpert but the appended patch seems to fix the original
bug for me, if you define DEBIAN at compile time.

On a related matter, does any one know how to make xconsole
truncate its messages? It simply keeps growing if you run it
for a week:) I once tried to debug a program that generated
heaps of syslog entries and ended up with an xconsole that took
20M of mem!
