That is a good suggestion.

As i see it right now all that need to be done is that kbdconfig copies
the selected default keytable to /etc/kbd/default.map and that the boot
script loads it.  If worked out properly this will make the rc.boot script
of the kbd package obsolete.  We could get that done before the code-freeze
takes effect on Nov. 4th.

What do you think?
