xconsole can't open console !?
Hi,
I'm getting a little desperate by this: first rxvt/xterm couldn't open
the console, now I switched to xconsole (by means of xdm and
/etc/X11/config), and here's what I get:

Couldn't open console
Say what !?!?! What the hell is misconfigured on my system? I'm very
up-to-date on everything, did a complete update last sunday of everything I
was behind on......
