Decision time, Please, Brian

Brian,

Please make this decision ASAP: I propose that we go with X 3.2, or go
with 3.1 and provide _documentation_ on the security bug and the
upgrade path to 3.2, along with an "xdependencies" package to patch the
3.2 dependencies so that an upgrade is immediately possible. Please
decide. I will implement your decision if you wish.

I have uploaded the boot floppies into frozen and unstable. They have a
bug - you have to run /root/.configure by hand after booting multi-user
for the first time. Another set will be uploaded tomorrow.

I have left a number of packages for frozen in Incoming, and have requested
that Guy run an update. If a timely update is not possible, I can move packages
into place by hand and run the cron script to update the Packages file.

In addition, I propose that we initiate a beta test on debian-devel and
debian-user immediately, and see how much trouble comes up. We can base
our release decision on what we see there over the next week or so. I don't
think we will have to add an entire month to the release schedule.

I'll be offline for most of today.

	Thanks

	Bruce
