Trouble ahead for cgi-bin/debian directory

I patched the WN webserver to accept a path like

http://localhost/cgi-bin/debian/xxx

for a cgi-bin path. I noticed that

http://localhost/cgi-bin/debian/xxxx

was parsed as

http://localhost/cgi-bin/debian?xxxx

Some tools like man2html depended on this behavior. I had to patch
man2html to not use this scheme.

I would suggest getting rid of cgi-bin/debian altogether and letting
the webserver in update-debian-www make links in the real cgi-bin.

This means getting rid of /var/lib/debian-www/cgi-bin and having the
server map /usr/lib/debian-www/cgi-bin/* into the real cgi-bin via symlink
I guess. I dont think this is a problem. Perhaps I dont really understand
why a cgi-bin/debian amd /var/lib/debian-www/cgi-bin is necessary.

I have uploaded the WN webserver and man2html both packages work according
to Webstandards 2.1 and can serve as an illustration of the issues
involved.
