New CD-ROM: Plea for floppyless install

Since Bruce is now using the mkrboot package to build boot-floppies:

mkrboot can also generate a .zip file that uses loadlin to boot linux from
DOS.

Could we put the contents of such a zip file uncompressed into the root of
the new CD-Rom?

Then you should be able to install Debian from dos by doing for example:

D:
INSTALL

without any floppy disks.

If the installation system then would check the /debian directory on
the CD-Rom for base.tar.gz and install the base system from there then all
should be ok for a hassle free installation.
