Serious dpkg 1.4.0.1 trouble
Hi,
I can't get dpkg-source 1.4.0.1 to work at all. Here is whet it said when I
tried to unpack the exmh source disrobution:
> # dpkg-source -x exmh_1.6.9-2.dsc
> warning: setlocale(LC_CTYPE, "") failed.
> warning: LC_ALL = "(null)", LC_CTYPE = "iso_8859_1", LANG = "(null)",
> warning: falling back to the "C" locale.
> dpkg-source: extracting exmh in exmh-1.6.9
> dpkg-source: warning: exmh-1.6.9/debian/rules does not exist
And the exmh-1.6.9/debian/ is empthy. If I try to pack an already unpacked
source distrobution, it fails with the folowing messages:
> # dpkg-source -b exmh-1.6.9/
> warning: setlocale(LC_CTYPE, "") failed.
> warning: LC_ALL = "(null)", LC_CTYPE = "iso_8859_1", LANG = "(null)",
> warning: falling back to the "C" locale.
> warning: setlocale(LC_CTYPE, "") failed.
> warning: LC_ALL = "(null)", LC_CTYPE = "iso_8859_1", LANG = "(null)",
> warning: falling back to the "C" locale.
> warning: setlocale(LC_CTYPE, "") failed.
> warning: LC_ALL = "(null)", LC_CTYPE = "iso_8859_1", LANG = "(null)",
> warning: falling back to the "C" locale.

The debian/* files semms all OK, and contains nothing but normal characters.
The waring messages I get from all perl scripts, and they should not be
causing any problems.
