Sep 24 09:14:09 panoramix kernel: release: XF86_S3 kernel stack corruption. Aiee
Sep 26 00:10:13 panoramix kernel: release: XF86_S3 kernel stack corruption. Aiee


  Sometimes I have problems with the mouse: It does not appear to respond to 
  mouse movement.
  The last two messages were produced when I did have trouble with the mouse.
  On the latest occasion, there was severe file system damage: I lost  
      /usr/X11R6/lib
  The ifconfig message appeared to be produced during boot.
