Package: dpkg Version: 1.3.10 you should add +clearsig to the pgp paramterers (pgp is callen when i start dpkg-buildpkg). on my system, pgp doesn't create clear sigs, and changing /etc/pgp-i.conf doesn't help. but that's a diffrent problem. dpkg should use +clearsig in any case, because it doesn't work without.
