Bug#4220: ghostview and /etc/papersize

When I installed this version of ghostview, it issued the message

   cat: /etc/papersize: no such file or directory

but didn't return a non-zero exit status to dpkg, which therefore
assumed that the installation had succeeded.

This is two bugs.  Firstly it should behave sensibly in the absence of
/etc/papersize (or depend on a package which is known to provide it,
though I think this is not as good an option).  Secondly the postinst
script ignores any errors that occur; it should include `set -e' so
that errors are never ignored.
