Ehm yes. /var/spool/news shouldn't be in the INN package; your /var/spool/news
is probably on a seperate partition so rmdir /var/spool/news will always fail..
This is a bug in the INN package. I'm still working on it, though rather
slowly (veeeerry slowly, sorry).

Yep, dpkg tries do undo the purge so it probably starts the postinst script
again with a special argument which the INN postinst happiliy ignores.

No worries, but it _is_ kind of hard to get entirely rid of all traces
of INN on your system.. dpkg will keep thinking some parts are still
installed.
