Hi Richard --
I've made a couple of NCR-aware kernels for friends.  If you'd like
one of them, you might try:
ftp://sgk.phast.umass.edu/pub/boot1440.bin.gz

If you have some special requirement and can't make your own, let me
know and I'll make one for you.
