I think that *is* the problem. People aren't using their local mirrors
enough - I've seen Australians talk about ftp.debian.org not being
accessable (and therefor they 'cant get debian') before. I mean, if it's a
new package they're after that they need it then sure - go there. My mirror
runs twice daily and is always update <shrug>. I'm not sure if it's just
people being ignorant and not reading the README.mirrors file or what...
Not sure about others, but I do get quite a bit of ftp traffic here for
Debian stuff and I guess that's good to see. Mind you for International
sites our link accross the pcific is terrible (so don't bother) :)
