The AIC-7xxx driver changes seem to break some 2940s. These changes were put in place to enable AIC-7850 and other new chips. I think we have to wait for a driver update, and for now the best solution is for you to replace the kernel on the boot floppy with one you know to work for your devices. If the driver problem persists, we'll have to issue an alternate boot floppy. Thanks Bruce
