I think use matters too. We're promoting a free software system and
thus the users should be protected as well as the CD manufacturers.
If we come to an agreement with FSF, stuff like Procmail (which has a
"free with Debian" license) will have to go in non-free too.

I paid $10 for that 14,400 external ZyXEL at a flea market, intending to
use it to take credit card numbers from people who don't want to enter
them on my web page. How much do I have to pay to use the software?
