bug system question...
1) Is there any procedure for "merging" multiple reports that are all
basically the same?
For instance, there are at least three bug reports---1099, 1170 and
1201---that are all reporting the same thing. It would be nice, at
least for the maintainer, if there were a way to send a message
"attach 1099" to the bug processor so that it'd copy the pertinent
messages over and mark the additional bug reports as done. There are
other instances of duplicated bug reports, too.
