I've reported this as a bug in the past.  These names are
unnecessarily long and cause trouble when using ftp to make up the
floppies.  When the file names are converted to 8 chars (during an
mget), they overwrite one another.  Please can't we just name them
using shorter names?  At the very least, couldn't they be named such
that there is no conflict?
