It's pretty close to its final form, although we might go through an
en-masse package-file-renaming once we decide on architecture fields
in the filename and other such things. I've been working on the mirrors.

This can happen concurrently with alpha and beta-testing. I think there
are only a few real show-stoppers.

I'd be very happy if we had an installable alpha-test. I think we could
do that for the cold-install case in a week.

I don't fully understand what the open issues are here.

Yes. I abandoned some goals like the disk tool for 1.1 . Some things will
have to wait for 1.2 .
