modconf module-configuration utility uploaded

I have uploaded the "modconf" program to
master.debian.org/~upload/private/project/Incoming . It's a module
configuration menu system. Please test this program. It will be both
part of the installation disks and the installed system. Note that if
you install network card modules it displays the module arguments you
can set when it asks you for the module command line arguments. Erick
Branderhorst wrote the argument descriptions for the network cards.

"modconf" doesn't know about "kerneld" yet. It only uses modprobe and
edits /etc/modules.

Does anyone want to take over this program? It's a dialog-using shell
script, it needs to run with "ash" and a minimal utility set because
it is used from the boot floppies. There is no C programming involved,
but the maintainer would need to be kernel-configuration savvy.

	Thanks

	Bruce

This is a module-configuration program. It doesn't yet know about
"kerneld", it only knows about modules that are loaded by /etc/modules.
To use it, you will need dialog-0.9a, modules-1.69c-3, and the newest
 sysvinit.
