I think this bug has already been reported.

It's a real shame you didn't write down the names of some of the
packages involved; as it is we can't really do anything with this part
of your report.

In general it would have been much more helpful if you'd made more
detailed notes; in some places it's very hard to figure out what went
wrong with your particular installation, because of the lack of
information.
