Well it looks like metamail declairs /etc/mailcap as a confile and pine
doesn't.
Michael, could you do an experiment for me? Try purging metamail, install
pine, and then re-install metamail. If this works then setting
/etc/mailcap to a confile in pine should fix the problem overall. I don't
see this problem as I don't use metamail.
To the metamail maintainer: Is this new behavior in metamail? Pine has
not changed in this matter since before I began maintaining it.
Will declairing /etc/mailcap as a confile in the pine installation cause
this problem to go away?
