Yes, you are right. Somehow my /var/lib/dpkg got messed up and dpkg -L
modules didn't show anything (I mounted /var/lib from another partition),
so I though /etc/init.d/modules was orphaned.
Sorry for the confusion. But at least I now know who to contact for
changes in /etc/init.d/modules :)
