Package: xbase Version: 3.1.2-7 I was able to install and configure xbase without having a package which contains /lib/cpp. I thought there was going to be a separate /lib/cpp package, or that the C compiler would provide it ? In any case, xbase should depend on some appropriate thing, and some appropriate thing should exist. Ian.
