packages being revised

I will be revising the "image" packages and the "base" package this evening.
The "image" packages have an absolute link that should be relative, and breaks
the installation root disk when it tries to access /root/vmlinuz .

The "base" package is missing a few files and directories, which causes
a few complaints when you boot the system.
