Bug#2061: xbase-3.1.2-5 fails install on 0.93R6 system

Are you sure that you have an uncorrupted copy of the package? Check its
md5sum against the original announcement. The 'No such file or directory'
error is generally only seen when the package file is corrupt.

Noted - this is a bug, but is unrelated to the problem described above. I
presume that you had not previously installed any X packages on this
0.93R6 system; this is a situation that I was not easily able to test.
