Okay, but the kernel makefile calls /sbin/genksyms explicitly, which is why I
think *something* ought to be there.

Actually I see now it is a kernel version issue: 1.2.13 calls
/usr/bin/genksyms, while 1.3.47 calls /sbin/genksyms. What to do?
