* fastjar.postinst: Ignore update-alternative's exit status.
Closes: #143342. Same for gij-3.0. Closes: #144605.
* Strip libgcj (gcc-nof package).
* libstdc++-dev: remove conflict with gcc-3.1 packages (put 3.1's
header files in /usr/include/g++-v3-3.1).
* Apply patch from the 3.1 branch to handle big arrays in g77. See
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/g77_news.html.
Note: On GNU/Linux systems one has to compile programs that occupy
more than 1 Gbyte statically, i.e. g77 -static ...
