Description:
printfilters-ppd - filters from the GNUlpr printing system
Closes: 134892 135005 144589
Changes:
printfilters-ppd (2.13-1) unstable; urgency=low
.
* new upstream (which actually just includes a Debian patch)
* correct in ppd_xref.rdb 'HP_LaserJet_5.ppd' for
'HP LaserJet 5M' (closes: #135005)
* use of grab-ppd.awk is substituted by `pcap -P$queue:ppdfile`
* there were some echo 'error...'
which now are echo 'error...' 1>&2 (closes: #144589)
(otherwise they would be sent to the printer.. instead they go to a
tmp log file which is e-mailed to the user)
* do not 'eval'uate commands that do not need to
* supports PDF, by converting it to PS (closes: #134892)
* TODO: if ps-to-printer.fpi uses gs and input is pdf, we may avoid to
transform pdf->ps with gs and then call gs again; but currently
the shortcut is disabled, needs debugging
