I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that once the fixed package is upload some other lintian warnings will be fixed as well. Or, is there (or will there be) a lintian warning against icon packages depending/recommending desktop environments? regards, Holger P.S.: regarding the severity: I consider it quite a drawback on the functionalita of this package if its not installable without kde, thus I think the bug is not minor, but normal. I also agree that it's pointless to waste much time on a severity discussion, when the fix is around the corner :-)
