   * Altered autoconf/ccpic to be slightly more sane.
   * Seems that Manuel thought Bigloo wouldn't compile shared libraries
     on PPC.  He'll be happy to know otherwise; removed intentional block
     on PPC shared libraries from autoconf/ldshare.
   * Meanwhile, lets close old invalid bug reports, now that we know it builds
     in most places:
     - (Closes: #69721) SPARC build works
     - (Closes: #96117) ARM build works
