libhdf4g - The Hierarchical Data Format library -- library package
libhdf4g-dev - The Hierarchical Data Format library -- development package
libhdf4g-run - The Hierarchical Data Format library -- runtime package
Closes: 90232
Changes:
 libhdf4 (4.1r4-4) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Ported to arm. This involved updating config.sub and config.guess in
several places, modifying hdfi.h, modifying some configure.in files
and creating a mh-linuxsparc config fragment. Closes: #90232.
   * Note that because of a bug in g77, the package still cannot be built
on arm. The problem seems to be fixed with the upcoming gcc 3.0. Bug
#90363 had been opened against g77 for this problem. In the meantime,
the arm .debs contain the fortran objects only in the static
libraries. This should be no problem for Debian packages since no
other package depend on the fortran bindings in the shared
libraries. People using fortran on arm can use the static libraries. A
note has been written up in README.arm-fortran.
   * Remove .note and .comment from binary objects.
