Yes, the minetest-mod-* packages ideally need to be renamed and updated
to their latest versions.

Luanti made it into Trixie just in time, but the mod packages will
require more time/effort to fix, hence the transitional/empty minetest
package.

Please, feel free to file bugs. There was some earlier efforts to update
the mod packages on Salsa, but I haven't checked which were actually
uploaded yet. I don't personally have or know of a solid plan to update
these, so I suppose this will be on a best-effort basis by the Games
Team.
