Hello, Reiner Herrmann has been working on several RC bugs recently and he also started to work on hawknl. [1] He came to the conclusion that keeping this package in Debian is probably not a good idea because a) it was uploaded to Debian 13 years ago and then it never saw an update, b) it is only a library without reverse-dependencies that nobody seems to use. I agree with him that it makes more sense to remove hawknl from Debian due to the lack of proper maintenance and demand. If you agree with this analysis then I intend to file a removal request for hawknl soon. If not, please shout. Regards, Markus [1] https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/hawknl
